Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:
Project Not Initiated: If the project has not commenced and no work has been undertaken, a full refund of the upfront payment may be issued upon the Client's request.
Project Delay by Designer: If the Designer fails to initiate the project within [Insert Number] days of the agreed-upon start date without valid justification, the Client may request a full refund.
Non-Delivery: If the Designer fails to deliver the project as per the agreed specifications and timeline, and no reasonable resolution can be achieved, a partial or full refund may be considered based on the work completed.
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
Change of Mind: If the Client decides to cancel the project after work has commenced, citing a change of mind or business direction.
Lack of Communication: If the Client fails to provide necessary information, feedback, or approvals, causing project delays or hindrances.
Third-Party Issues: Delays or issues arising from third-party services (e.g., hosting providers, domain registrars) are beyond the Designer's control and are not grounds for a refund.
Completed Projects: Once the project is completed, delivered, and approved by the Client, no refunds will be entertained.
Scope of Work
The Designer agrees to provide web design services as outlined in the attached Scope of Work document. This includes, but is not limited to, designing, developing, and implementing a responsive website tailored to the Client's specifications.
Deliverables
The Designer will deliver the following:
Fully responsive website compatible with major browsers and devices.
HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript files.
Optimized images and assets.
Documentation for website maintenance and updates.
Timeline
The project will commence on [Start Date] and is expected to be completed by [End Date]. Any changes to this timeline will be communicated and agreed upon by both parties in writing.
Payment Structure
To ensure clarity and mutual understanding, the payment for web design services will be structured as follows:
Initial Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required before the commencement of any work. This secures your project in the schedule and covers initial planning and design phases.
Mid-Project Milestone: An additional 25% is due upon approval of the design mockups and before proceeding to the development phase.
Final Payment: The remaining 25% is payable upon project completion and prior to the website going live or the delivery of final files

Wireframes: Basic sketches illustrating the layout and placement of elements on each page.
2. Design Assets
Mood Boards: Collections of images, color palettes, and typography to convey the desired visual style.
Mockups: High-fidelity designs showing the final appearance of web pages across various devices.
Style Guide: A document detailing design standards, including fonts, colors, and spacing, ensuring consistency throughout the site.
3. Development Deliverables
Responsive Website: A fully functional website optimized for desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
HTML/CSS/JavaScript Files: Clean and well-structured code forming the backbone of the website.
Content Management System (CMS) Integration: Implementation of platforms like WordPress or Joomla for easy content updates.
Functional Features: Incorporation of contact forms, e-commerce capabilities, or other interactive elements as per client requirements.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance
Cross-Browser Testing: Ensuring the website functions correctly across all major web browsers.
Performance Optimization: Enhancing site speed and responsiveness for a better user experience.
Security Measures: Implementing protocols to protect the website from potential threats.
5. Deployment and Training
Website Launch: Transferring the website from a development environment to the live server.
Client Training: Providing guidance on how to manage and update website content using the CMS.
